Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is the seventh studio album by English singer-songwriter Elton John, released in 1973 as a double LP.
The album has topped the charts around the world and has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is widely regarded as John's greatest work – in 2003, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and was included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
Hit tracks include Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting and the original version of Candle in the Wind which was a tribute to Marilyn Monroe.
All tracks were written by Elton John and his long term collaborator Bernie Taupin.
